Take Action

Have you ever heard of a one minute millionaire? Well you may be one and didn’t even realize it. Have you ever had an “ah-ha” moment? You may be completing a task and think to yourself, I have a better way of doing this and others could benefit from it also. Or you may just be thinking to yourself and come up with several ideas to solve a problem. In that one minute you thought of the idea, in some degree you have just became a one minute millionaire. This is where the majority quit. They start thinking of every reason not to move forward. Instead of thinking how to take action (positive), they think of how it would never work (negative). Thinking of all the obstacles they will have to overcome. Reality is, every successful entrepreneur has to overcome obstacles. It’s a part of the journey, but with every obstacle comes a great learning experience.
It all starts from one idea or thought. Look around you. Everything around you has come from an idea. The TV you watch, the lights in your house, the computer you are reading this from. These all started from ideas or a thought. Thomas Edison had an idea of a lamp that could operate by electricity, the Wright brothers had an idea of a machine that would fly through the air. The list goes on, but just think if they did not take the action to manifest their ideas, where would we be?
You may have several ideas that you may think shows great promise. Keep a log or journal of your ideas. I keep a list of my thoughts and ideas on my laptop for future reference. Will every idea become a success, maybe not. The key here is to focus on one. A little piece of advice on this one that has been said by every great entrepreneur, including Donald Trump, DO WHAT YOU LOVE. If you don’t, it will seem like work and the business will own you instead of you owning your business. It will be just like going to a job.
It’s all about taking action. Whether it’s research, talking with others or reading books in the same field you are thinking about getting in to. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. You don’t have to do everything at once, take small steps and achieve your dreams.
To your success,
Largent
